This is STC 14pin IDC Wire Flat Ribbon Cable, 2x8 IDC 16 pin 16 wires GPIO Ribbon Cable. It is also named 2.54mm Pitch 2x8 Pin 16 Wire IDC Ribbon Cable, it has 16 pins (2x8) in 0.1" x 0.1" spacing and two sockets crimped on either end. Pin #1 is marked with a red stripe down the side. Used with GPIO Expander bonnet or with any of Adafruit RGB LED Matrices if you want to chain them together or extend the cable a little farther.
